Private Charter
Cruising with family and friends is a delightful way to spend a holiday, and Steadfast is perfectly suited for the job. With her long keel and 40 tonnes displacement, Steadfast is comfortable and roomy. The wide, open deck is great for viewing the passing scenery, and handling sail on a big gaff cutter is either: a) relaxing, b) exhilarating, or c) great fun!
Teaming up together to haul on ropes or heave up the anchor, plotting a course or steering by the wind, sailing past rocky headlands or lying peacefully at anchor in a quiet, secluded cove – these are all part of the experience of sailing on Steadfast. Delicious meals are standard fare, and Laurence and Grace will see to it that you are well taken care of.

Corporate Charter
Steadfast also offers an excellent service to corporate groups, including team building events, special functions, rewards, strategy meetings, or seminars. Sailing is an outstanding way to build teamwork, and gaff rig offers challenges even to seasoned yachtsmen. A day on the water is also a great venue for your next board meeting or staff party. Please call us to discuss your requirements.
Accommodation and Rates
Steadfast can accommodate up to 34 day or 6 overnight passengers. Private or corporate charter is available at any time of year, from any deepwater port in the Nelson/Marlborough region. Charter rates are as shown below:
• Full Day (up to 8 hours) - $1400
• Overnight (24 hours) - $1800
• Hourly Charter - $250/hour (minimum $600)
The above rates are inclusive of GST, but do not include catering costs. A delivery charge may apply. Transportation by road to French Pass can be arranged . Please see details of our charter conditions on our bookings page.
